ANGRY CLIENT? HOW TO DEAL WITH THOSE WHO CAN’T!
I had a RESUME CLIENT today who insisted I stop what I’m doing and work on his resume, finish the revisions by tomorrow COB, so we can have a conference call Thursday. It’s my birthday bro! Can’t I have 1 day off?
Here’s a good response back: “Unfortunately, I would not be able to meet at that time on Thursday. Again, I have time on Wednesday to meet if you are able. If needed, I can work on the revisions in the meantime based on your notes, and we can connect once those are completed.”
